DNS Don't-Probe List Access Agreement

Use of the OARC DNS Don't-Probe List ("the List") is subject to these terms and conditions. You may not use the List if you do not agree to them. By downloading the List you represent to OARC that you agree to these terms.

OARC provides the List solely as a resource to researchers to avoid sending DNS probes to the following:

unused or unrouted address space;
networks associated with the US military or government;
hosts or networks whose managers have specifically requested that they not receive DNS probes.

You may not:

re-package, compile, re-distribute or re-use any or all of the List;
deliberately attempt to communicate with the hosts or networks that appear on the List, or their respective managers;
use any or all of the data on the List for advertising or as part of a process for identifying entities, names, addresses for advertising activity of any sort.

OARC strives to keep the List up-to-date and accurate; however we cannot guarantee its accuracy or availability. The data is is provided on an "as is" basis without any representations or warranties of any kind. In particular, note that the absence of an entry in the List does not indicate that the manager of a host or network is willing for that host or network to be the target of DNS probes.
